Remembering The Exxon Valdez Disaster (25 Years On)

The Exxon Valdez spill dumped between 41,000 to 119,000 m3 of crude oil into the water. This gigantic disaster occurred
just after midnight on 24 March (today), 1989 when the homonymous tanker crashed into the Blight Reef in Prince William Sound, Alaska.

This video clip shows members of International Bird Rescue’s emergency response team sharing their experiences from that horrible day.
