Frankenfish, Soon On Your Local Sushi Bar Menu

“Frankenfish”, a k a genetically engineered salmon is soon to hit your local supermarket or Sushi Bar.
Canada’s environmental regulatory agency is going to allow AquaBounty to produce Frankenfish eggs on industrial scale. It will take place at a Prince Edward Island hatchery. The U.S Food and Drug Administration will either approve or reject Frankenfish. It would be for sale only if it’s approved.

But wait. Did you think that Frankenfish is being welcomed by customers?

Think again.

1.5 million objections were filed against AquAdvantage during the FDA’s public comment period.
