Are You Annoyed By People Taking Long Showers? (OrbSys)

Then take a look at this.

Lund University industrial design student, Mehrdad Mahdjoubi, designed the OrbSys (Orbital Systems) which is a recycled water system that heavily reduces the amount of water that somebody would use during a 10-minute long shower.

A standard shower can use up to 150 litres of water which is an extremely big amount.
Inspired by the ultra-minimal use of resources in Space Technology, Mehrdad, came up with a closed-loop system that reduces water consumption by filtering used shower water to drinking standards. The same water is then transported up to the shower head to be used once again.

What’s even better that re-heating goes very quick and that OrbSys consumes only approximately 5 litres of water for the very same 10-minute shower that normally could consume 150 litres of water.

Please, feel free to share this as OrbSys might be the way we shower in the future.
We must reduce water consumption!
