Twice Used: Recycling iPhones

Chris Koerner is one of the artists at Twice Used that one day decided to recycle iPhones (!) into household goods.

Their goal is to, and I quote them: “We take what you’ve loved and lost and make it useful again”.

As simple as that.

Their project has dual purposes, namely, to get rid of dangerous electronic waste by producing modern household items by hand in the USA. All their items are produced from used iPhone glass and other parts. The artists bought the glass from repair shops, where people had come with their broken iPhones.
