Letting The Stars Light Up Your Path

British company Pro-teq Surfacing, has invented a photoluminescent spray coating which could replace street lamps in the future. Starpath is the name of the waterproof coating.

How does it work? It imbibes light during the day so it can glow during the night. As easy as that.
Pro-teq Surfacing sees Starpath as a way to make night driving safer as it, apart from illuminating, also comes with anti-slip properties. Starpath is now being tested onto existing pathways running through the Christ’s Pieces Park in Cambridge.
