Fortaleza East Line Contract Awarded

Companies Acciona and Cetenco Engenharia were appointed by the Brazilian state of Ceará to build a new underground line in the city of Fortaleza. The contract is of R$2.3bn and also includes assembling four tunnel boring machines (TBM) which were sold by The Robbins Company. East Line/Line 3 will eventually become 12.4 km long, where it will create a link between the South and West lines.
