A New High Speed Train Delivery Centre Has Opened

A delivery centre for double-deck high speed trainsets was opened by Alstom at its factory in Belfort. This took place on October 24.

A 200 m long inspection pit provides access to the running gear and brakes and along the length of the trainset there is also an access to the roof operations.

Alstom’s strategy of firmer control over its commissioning and testing cycles has lead to the development of the delivery centre. It aims to be able to supply SNCF as soon as possible with trainsets for passenger service.
